Celebrate the 2nd Amendment

The Supreme Court decision about gun ownership made me very mad. Chicago has similar gun laws to DC, where the laws in question were deemed unconstitutional. Now I am done cursing and shaking my fist at the radio.

Shifting gear.

I don’t know exactly how to nor if it is legal, but here is my idea: What if there is a competition for the best essay titled “Why I should NOT own a gun”? The big prize will be a brand new assault weapon and a one-year membership to the NRA. If something like that does not exist, it should. I want to see how slippery the slope is.

Square Foot Show

Here is a Xerox transfer I made out of a photo I took of Ashley Simone in January. The transfer is on a 12×12 canvas and it was made for the Square Foot Show at the Galaxie. The opening on Saturday was not as big as last year but it was fun and I got to talk with many interesting people. Besides the art on the walls, there were dancers, musicians, and fire performers. I got the idea to go back to play with fire.
